As an Executive Search and Career Consultant specializing in the niche market of Supply Chain, we represent some of the top leaders and are called upon by blue chip organizations in the country to secure talent and assist them in building high performance teams. One such client of mine is a leading FMCG company and they are looking for a Category Manager for the following operating areas:
Finished Goods
3PM Indirects
CAPEX
Packaging
Raw Ingredients
You are responsible for developing and executing the sourcing strategy for your respective commodity and ensuring delivery of best procurement value and mitigation of supply risks.
You will establish a distinctive competency and understanding of the commodity and business needs and continuously identify new procurement value opportunities in line with the Commodity Strategy. You will deliver cost savings projects focused on Total Cost (TCO) optimization whilst ensuring a healthy relationship with suppliers and business.
You will manage a team of sourcing specialists and are accountable for a commodity spend portfolio.

Experience:
