Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise and coordinate the activities of all casino staff, including dealers, cashiers, and attendants

– Train and develop new and existing casino staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of their role

– Monitor the casino floor to ensure that all gaming activities are conducted in compliance with onboard the cruise ship policies and procedures

– Maintain accurate records of casino revenue and expenses, and prepare reports for management

– Develop and implement strategies to increase casino revenue and profitability

– Ensure that all casino equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition

– Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner

– Collaborate with other departments, such as the bar and entertainment teams, to create a seamless guest experience

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure the casino is in compliance with all laws and regulations

Requirements:

– Minimum 1 year of tables supervising experience

– Previous shipboard experience

– Extensive dealing experience with Blackjack, American Roulette, UItimate Texas Hold’em or Three Card Poker, and Dice

– Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

– Strong leadership and team management skills

– Proficient in Microsoft Office and casino management software

– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the cruise schedule

– Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications
