Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing – Administer medication according to prescribed schedules – Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions – Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation – Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior – Help with light household chores and errands – Provide companionship and emotional support to clients – Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent – Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care setting – Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation – Certification in First Aid and CPR – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to work independently and follow care plans – Compassionate and patient nature – Must be able to pass a background check Benefits:
