Responsibilities:
Compilation of tender documentation
Prepare and settle final accounts.
Carry out estimating function in multi-disciplinary engineering & built environment projects.
Measuring and compiling of bills of quantities for tender purposes.
Understanding and experience in compilation and management of standard construction & engineering contracts
Compilation and negotiation of contracts
Perform on/off site re-measurement, assessments and agree variations.
Manage a number of projects and different team members concurrently.
Undertaking client facing interactions.
Requirements:
A relevant technical qualification and be registered as a quantity surveyor with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
Experience in Built environment projects
Experience on an engineering construction site
An above average understanding of contract management and knowledge of various standard forms of contract in construction & engineering
Willing to work on project sites
Strong problem-solving skills including excellent and proven client engagement ability
Strong analytical skills
Commercial astuteness
Experience with contractual claims
Mentoring and development of young talent
Previous experience working in WinQS and DimX
Ability to Travel
