Bill Tolken Hendrikse Inc. is seeking a Candidate Attorney to join our Family Law department at our *Stellenbosch branch*. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified graduate with a genuine interest in family law to gain hands-on experience in a busy, well-established practice.
*About the Role*
You will work closely with our head of department on a broad range of matters, run your own matters, including divorce litigation, maintenance disputes, care and contact matters, Rule 43 applications, and related trust and commercial law work. This is a practical, client-facing role that will expose you to litigation from the ground up.
*Requirements*
• LLB degree, studies fully completed
• Right of appearance in the Magistrate’s Court
• Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for family law
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (required for court appearances, consultations, and related travel)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound research and drafting ability
• High attention to detail and ability to manage a demanding workload
• Professional, discreet, and client-centred approach
