Harmattan Renewables is building a roster of external associate consultants to support us as new leadership drives an ambitious next chapter — sharper commercial focus, and expansion into new African markets.
We’re looking for experienced independent consultants and boutique specialists across technical/engineering, advisory (LTA, due diligence), ESG, project management, and niche disciplines (grid, geotechnical, environmental permitting, regulatory) to join our associate roster for project-based engagements — wind, solar and BESS, across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
This isn’t a full-time role — it’s flexible, project-by-project work for seasoned, commercially minded professionals who want to stay close to great projects without being tied to one firm full-time.
South Africa / Sub-Saharan Africa based preferred
8-10+ years’ relevant African renewable energy/infrastructure experience
Project-based, day-rate or fixed-fee engagements, no exclusivity required
