Setting up and maintaining supplier call cycle.
Preparing and meeting with suppliers daily as per call cycle.
Developing and maintaining supplier relationships.
Setting up supplier trade plans to manage and achieve objectives for supplier sales growth.
Managingpromotiongrid and margin expectations.
Conducting ad hoc budget analysis.
Performing market price surveys and assisting in price/deal negotiations with suppliers.
Creating purchase orders, ensuring all purchases are made according to the company’s policies and procedures.
Ensuring supplier pickups are completed.
Following up on outstanding orders to ensuretimely deliveries.
Monitoring supplier delivery efficiencies.
Achievingstock managementobjectives, ensuring stock is maintained at all times.
Maximizing working capital by utilizing supplier payment terms.
Managing dog lines, negative stock, ageing stock, and overstock situations.
Addressing low stock levels and supplier claims.
Setting prices using market surveys.
Conducting daily floor walks to assess look and feel, ticketing,merchandising, and checking for supplier damages.
Managing promotional activities in line with store grid.
Generating creative ideas to drive supplier and category growth.
Interacting with customers in-store and conducting visits.
Continuously seeking new ideas to drive and grow the business.
Gainingproduct knowledgefor accounts.
Identifyingopportunities for growthwith suppliers.
Planning and executing promotional grids to drive sales.
Liaising with the internal sales team to generate sales, ensuring bought stock is sold stock.
