An exciting opportunity is available for a Butler within a luxury lodge environment based in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. This live-in role is ideal for a dedicated hospitality professional who thrives in high-end service environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest service while supporting the overall front-of-house and operational functions of the lodge. This includes managing guest interactions, ensuring smooth daily service flow, and assisting with key operational responsibilities such as stock control, inventory management, and ordering processes.
This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to perform consistently under pressure. The ideal candidate will be well-spoken, professional, and confident in engaging with guests, ensuring a personalised and memorable experience at all times.
Working on a 3 weeks on, 1 week off cycle, this position offers a structured work environment within a dynamic and rewarding lodge setting. The role is particularly suited to candidates with prior experience in a senior butler position who are comfortable balancing both guest service and operational duties.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a luxury hospitality environment that prioritizes service excellence, teamwork, and continuous development.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Deliver high-level butler service to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Manage stock takes, inventory control, and ordering procedures
- Maintain high standards of presentation and attention to detail
- Support daily lodge operations and service coordination
- Ensure compliance with lodge standards and procedures
- Handle guest requests, preferences, and personalised service delivery
- Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a professional, well-spoken, and organised approach
- Previous experience in a Senior Butler role is essential
