We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Retail Butchery Manager to lead one of our busy stores and take full ownership of its success.
What You’ll Do:
As a Retail Butchery Manager at Brito’s, you’ll run the store as if it were your own. This is a comprehensive management role that includes:
Leading and motivating a team across the butchery and retail floor
Ensuring high standards of hygiene, product quality, and customer service
Managing stock levels, ordering, receiving, and waste control
Driving sales, promotions, and visual merchandising
Handling staffing matters including training, rostering, and discipline
Monitoring store performance and implementing strategies to improve results
Upholding all operational standards and food safety compliance
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in retail and butchery management (min. 3 years)
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
A hands-on, lead-from-the-front attitude
Solid understanding of stock control, shrinkage, and margins
Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Fluency in English and/or Afrikaans
Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
