DC Meat is seeking a Manager for their Butchery in Springbok.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years Butchery Management experience:
Have knowledge of different cuts of meat, including chicken, pork, beef, sheep/lamb.
Be able to maintain high standards in hygiene, cutting, packing,merchandising, and customer service.
Have basic computer skills in Excel.
Have experience with Point-Of-Sale software and be able to manage stock levels and orders.
Have experience with Cash-In-Transit companies.
Have experience with stock counting and variance investigations/controls.
Be self-motivated and be able to work under pressure.
Be willing/prepared to relocate to Springbok if not currently located close enough.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day running of the entire Butchery.
Lead, manage and motivate a team of +/- 25 people.
Control, manage & order stock & calculate GP.
Ensure high standards ofmerchandisingand product pricing are maintained.
Perform daily cash-ups & banking.
Daily open & close of the Butchery (Mon to Sat).
Ensure orders are placed for adequate stock holding and ensure delivered goods are properly checked and received weekly.
Manage cashiers andPOS systems.
Manage office and CIT procedures.
Administer daily cash-up and floats procedures.
