Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Manager in Construction and Mining Equipment with a client of ours.
The role is located on-site in the City of Johannesburg. The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing client relationships, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, implementing business strategies, driving sales growth, managing budgets, and ensuring the effective utilization of resources. The successful candidate will also lead teams, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and work towards achieving the company’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
Experience requirements
Result-oriented and experienced professional with proven track record in service business and operations;
Extensive Management experience;
Good planning and organizational skills;
Ability to direct the identification of business opportunities for the profitable growth of the market;
Strong Customer Care focus.
Knowledge
Power Equipment and Construction and mining equipment related product knowledge is key.
Educational requirements
University degree in Engineering or similar;
Good understanding of business financials (in particular those related to service);
Proven commercial and business experience.
Personality requirements
You have strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills, sound commercial awareness and a drive for success;
Willingness to travel intensively across Southern Africa;
Experience in a similar role within the construction or mining industry is essential.
