Position: Business Line Manager – Crushing Solutions – Africa
Purpose of the role
To drive SRP to become the preferred supplier of Sandvik crushing solutions to the mining & infrastructure market in Africa through setting the direction of the crushing solutions business in Africa by developing objectives based on the overall strategy and then executing with both revenue growth and profit & loss responsibility on the crushing solutions product offerings.
The job responsibilities:
Set the direction of the business with a territory specific action plan focus to grow the business through the sales of crushing solutions capital equipment.
Managing the capital equipment crushing solutions sales team and the sales process and direct responsibility for sales in the Southern Africa territory.
Coaching and managing (including performance management) of the crushing solutions sales team and encouraging cross collaboration and knowledge learning with both the crushing solutions and screening solutions sales teams
Working closely with the BLM Screening Solutions and the Territory Managers to set actions plans to execute on key focus areas to achieve sales and revenue growth in each territory and driving bundled offerings to maximize winning of opportunities.
Close collaboration with the Lifecycle Manager to ensure an aligned focus and actions on driving the growth of the installed base of crushers and the readiness to provide the appropriate lifecycle support linked to the strategy.
EPC & Key Customer Account management in collaboration with the EPC & Customer Accounts Manager and the BLM Screening Solutions
Development of sales strategy and action plans targeted for core focus areas/segments and ensuring capital equipment sales are done with an aftermarket growth focus and bundling.
Responsible for driving and setting the plan for Division Mobiles crushing solutions sales in Africa.
EHS responsibility for the crushing solutions team
Develop the EHS activities and actions associated with its annual commitment.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Professional qualification at the level of Mechanical Engineer or Metallurgical Engineer or equivalent.
Solid knowledge and experience of Sandvik Crushing & Screening equipment.
+10 years related industry experience with an OEM in the mining & infrastructure industry.
Solid understanding and experience in budgeting and forecasting processes and preparing strategic plans and action plans

Fluent in English
Willingness & fitness to travel into other African countries
Valid passport
Knowledge of vibrating and/or crushing equipment
Good understanding of mining site plants and process engineering
Sound judgement and problem-solving ability
Listening and logic interpretation

Demonstrated leadership & mentoring skills
Must be flexible and self-reliant, self-starter
Excellent time management
