We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to establish and lead a new enterprise Data & Business Intelligence function. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing the organization's data management capability, implementing enterprise data governance, defining data architecture, and driving the adoption of analytics to support business decision-making.
The successful candidate will build the data function from the ground up by creating governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models while enhancing enterprise reporting, analytics, and data maturity across the business.
This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, enterprise architecture, business intelligence, data governance, and stakeholder management experience.
Key Responsibilities
Establish the Enterprise Data Function
- Design and implement the organization's first enterprise Data Function.
- Define the operating model, structure, governance, and responsibilities.
- Develop RACI matrices and reporting structures.
- Recommend staffing requirements and capability development plans.
- Establish enterprise-wide data management standards.
Data Strategy
- Assess the current data landscape and maturity.
- Review and enhance the enterprise Data Strategy.
- Develop a roadmap to improve organizational data maturity.
- Create a 3–4-year strategic roadmap covering governance, architecture, analytics, and data management initiatives.
Data Governance
- Develop and implement an enterprise Data Governance Framework.
- Establish governance councils, data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.

Enterprise Data Architecture
- Develop enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures.
- Define enterprise integration architecture.
- Develop enterprise data models and business glossaries.
- Establish standards for enterprise data integration and information management.
- Recommend technology platforms supporting enterprise data architecture.
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Assess the current reporting and analytics landscape.
- Standardize enterprise KPIs.
- Design enterprise dashboards and reporting standards.
- Develop advanced analytics models.
- Enable self-service business intelligence across the organization.
- Ensure reporting aligns with strategic business objectives.
Data Quality & Master Data
- Improve enterprise data quality processes.
- Develop master data management standards.
- Establish data quality monitoring and governance processes.
- Ensure enterprise data remains accurate, trusted, and fit for business use.
Capacity Building
- Build enterprise data literacy across the organization.
- Deliver role-based training for business and technical users.
- Mentor internal teams.
- Develop knowledge transfer documentation.
- Promote a data-driven culture throughout the organization.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
- Work closely with IT, Information Management, and business units.
- Lead cross-functional workshops.
- Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive enterprise adoption of governance and analytics practices.
Project Leadership
- Establish project governance structures.
- Develop implementation plans and delivery roadmaps.
- Manage project risks and dependencies.
- Produce regular executive progress reports.
- Ensure successful delivery of all project milestones.

Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Management, Data Governance, or Enterprise Data Architecture.
- Proven experience establishing or transforming enterprise data capabilities.
- Strong experience developing enterprise Data Governance frameworks.
- Experience designing enterprise Data Architecture.
- Experience delivering enterprise Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Lake concepts.
- Experience with enterprise reporting and dashboard development.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong project and programme management capabilities.
