Role Description This on-site Business Development Officer role is based in Cape Town. The South African Institute for Entrepreneurship (SAIE) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to support the identification of new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and proposal development. The successful candidate will assist in growing the organisations portfolio by researching funding opportunities, preparing high-quality proposals, building stakeholder relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Development Studies, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- 2-5 years experience in business development, fundraising, sales, partnerships, or proposal writing.
- Excellent communication, networking, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Social Media
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience will be an added advantage.
- Travel across the Western Cape and nationally will be required.
