This role combines:
High-volume outbound prospecting
Consultative platform demonstrations
Negotiation, compliance navigation and deal closure
Pipeline ownership and CRM discipline
Relationship building within the intermediary community
The ideal candidate is comfortable initiating conversations with senior financial professionals, credible when discussing markets and trading infrastructure, and relentless about converting a first touch into a first deposit.
Key Responsibilities

Qualify prospects against firm criteria (AUM potential, mandate fit, regulatory standing)
Attend third-party industry conferences and networking forums as an attendee to source leads
2. Platform Demonstrations & Solution Fit
Deliver live demonstrations of the trading platform to prospective clients
Handle technical and product questions directly; pull in internal support (customer service, compliance, IT) where deeper expertise is required
Translate client requirements into concrete platform capabilities and account structures
Position the offering credibly against competing brokerage and platform solutions
3. Deal Closure & Onboarding
Negotiate onboarding terms within approved commercial parameters
Drive prospects through compliance, FICA and onboarding requirements to completion
Secure AUM commitments and confirm funding of accounts
Own the deal from first touch to first deposit
Ensure a clean operational handoff to client servicing once the account is live
4. Pipeline & CRM Management
Record every touch, every meeting and every change of stage in the CRM. No exceptions.
Maintain an accurate, current forecast of pipeline value and expected close dates
Report on pipeline health, conversion rates and blockers to the Head of Business Development on a weekly basis
Work closely with senior management and internal support teams to keep deals moving
