Portfolio Manager – Transport Finance | Cape Town Foreshore
Salary: R400 000 – R500 000 CTC per annum
A leading specialised financial services business is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join its Asset Finance division in Cape Town.
This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong relationship management capability and experience within transport, fleet, asset or commercial finance environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain a portfolio of transport and asset finance clients
• Monitor portfolio performance, exposures and overall asset quality
• Build and maintain strong client and dealer relationships
• Analyse financial performance and identify potential risk concerns
• Support deal structuring, restructures and additional funding requests
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and governance requirements
• Prepare portfolio reporting and maintain accurate client records
• Identify opportunities to optimise and grow the portfolio
Requirements:
• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field
• 4+ years’ experience in a client-facing financial services environment
• Experience within transport finance, commercial lending, fleet finance or asset finance
• Strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment skills
• Existing industry relationships and dealer network advantageous
