Title: Business Development Manager

Purpose:

Responsible for searching and exploring markets for new opportunities to expand and strengthen the company's position in the financial services market or new Industries. Develops an Account Plan for all Corporate Clients incorporating stakeholder identification and management to standardise and enhance existing and new PropTech solutions, plus a future roadmap for bringing new e4 solutions to the clients.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Search and explore markets for new opportunities at the major banks and other industries
  • Conceptually design, market and sell e4’s existing product range.
  • Plan and co-ordinate sales and business development activities according to agreed budgets, based on a clear sales and marketing strategy.
  • Develop a roadmap to enhance and standardise existing and new compliance solutions.
  • Maintain an online pipeline report tracking all new opportunities and expected future revenues on a rolling 12-month basis.
  • Maintain an online Customer Relationship Management database of all key customers and messages.
  • Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
  • Plan, Lead, Organise and Control all activities surrounding four Quarterly Business Reviews for each Corporate Client.
  • Develop price models and use these to build client-facing business cases.
  • Establish quick wins in key markets.
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecast to the Line Manager.
  • Collaborate with Application Development, Attorney Sales, Call Centre, Marketing, Legal and Finance to ensure that the relevant resources, processes, systems and support are planned to support, maintain, upgrade and enhance the relevant solutions proposed.
  • Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems.
  • Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information relating to business development; Understand e4’s products and demonstrate this knowledge by promoting the products to customers.
  • Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation and protect and develop the company's brands via suitable marketing and PR activities and intellectual property management.
  • Meet personal sales target as agreed in the budget or with the line manager.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (3years)/ NQF level 7

Up to 8 years related experience
