Job Title:Business Development Executive (software/insurance/financial)
Contract Type:Full-time and permanent
Location:Sandton. You will be required to travel extensively locally
Job Description:The successful candidate will discover and nurture sales opportunities, identify new markets, engage with existing clients for expansion, and propose tailor-made solutions that cater to client’s business needs, with the ultimate goal of meetingsales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales for software products in both southern Africa and into Africa.
Generate new business leads through various sources such as cold calling, web leads, and attending trade exhibitions.
Follow-up and qualify leads to ascertain their business requirements.
Work with Development and Support teams to suggest suitable software solutions.
Create and present persuasive sales pitches for products and services.
Negotiate pricing, rental, and service level agreements with clients.
Facilitate the creation and correct billing setup for client accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams for robust project implementation.
Maintain and enhance client relationships to improve sales and customer experience.
Address and resolve any client concerns efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
Grade 12 completion required.
A relevant IT or Sales and Marketing degree/diploma is advantageous.
Experience in software sales is crucial.
Proficiency in various African languages like Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Tsonga, Venda is necessary.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Solid understanding of customer and market dynamics.
Should have a solid sales track record insoftware, insurance, or financial servicesand must exhibitextraordinary huntingskills.

Salary:R25000 plus commission
