Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business-to-Business Consultant to represent our organization across the different regions. This field-based role requires an entrepreneurial professional who will build strategic partnerships, generate leads, and expand our corporate training and development services throughout South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities

Conduct cold calls, site visits, and relationship-building activities with potential corporate and government clients

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects

Convert leads into strategic partnerships and service contracts

Corporate Engagement & Relationship Management

Engage directly with personnel responsible for staff development, HR managers, and training coordinators

Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations

Conduct needs assessments to understand client training and development requirements

Present tailored solutions that align with client objectives

Event Participation & Management

Attend corporate wellness days to promote our services and build brand awareness

Host on-site events and workshops for existing and prospective clients

Represent the organization at government departmental events and industry conferences

Coordinate and execute promotional activities at various corporate venues

Educational & NGO Partnerships

Establish relationships with NGOs focused on education and skills development

Explore collaboration opportunities that align with our mission and services

Participate in community education initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs

Territory Management

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Gauteng regional business landscape

Develop territory-specific strategies to maximize market penetration

Travel extensively throughout Gauteng to meet clients and attend events

Ensure consistent coverage of assigned geographic areas

Essential Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent qualification

Relevant certifications in sales, business development, or training would be advantageous

Experience & Skills

Minimum 2-3 years of B2B sales or business development (higher education experience is preferable)

Proven track record in lead generation and client relationship management

Strong presentation and communication skills

Experience in corporate training or educational services preferred

Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite

Regional Knowledge & Logistics

Extensive knowledge of Gauteng business communities and networks

Understanding of local market dynamics and cultural considerations

Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (essential)

Willingness to travel extensively throughout Gauteng

Reporting Structure

The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and will be expected to maintain regular communication regarding territory activities, lead status, and market insights.
