The Role
Our client, a well-respected, JSE Listed Financial Services company, requires the services of a suitably qualified Actuarial Pricing Specialist in their Short Term Insurance Business.
Thepurposeof this role is to price and manage the risk inrespectof new and existing business to ensure profitability andsustainability. The area is a high-pressure environment, and the suitable candidate needs to be able to produce high quality work while ensuring that tight deadlines are met.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12/Matric
Industry related qualification such as Certificate in financial products, Wealth Management, or Certificate in Short Term Insurance.
RE 5
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience selling Short Term insurance.
Duties And Responsibilities
Source sufficient lead generating opportunities to ensure 10 client quotes a week/40 per month.
Minimum requirement of 9 policies per month.
Communicate with client once a quote is required to conduct a proper needs analysis and offer professional advice.
Network with potential lead providers.
Report on activities – daily, weekly, monthly.
Stay abreast of product changes and enhancements, internally and externally.
Compliance with relevant legislation and standards in the industry.
Maintain skills and knowledge.
Maintain professional dress code and professional appearance.
