What you will be doing
- Analyse and understand all functional areas.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve functional issues and interpret high-level code.
- Demonstrate functional area capabilities and manage configuration.
- Evaluate tasks impacting business functions, new setups, or upstream / downstream components.
- Review bug fixes and approve the Architectural Specification Document for module changes.
- Identify new business needs and prepare Solution Design documents for offering gaps.
- Identify future roadmap items, stay updated on industry trends, and deliver business / insurance training.
- Train and support team members, and collaborate with the client Product Owner, internal / client Testers, and regression teams.
What our client is looking for
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (Business Administration, IT, etc.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
- Minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focused on the retail sector.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, and demonstrated capability with requirements management (Jira, Confluence) and process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart).
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
