We are recruiting Business Analysts to support a multi phase Telco transformation programme.
The role goes beyond requirements capture. The programme is seeking analysts who can challenge and simplify existing process across a mixed legacy estate, and who can guide business stakeholders toward a rationalized target state rather than replicating current process into the new platform.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Elicit and document business requirements across mobile (prepaid, postpaid and SMB) and fixed line network
- Conduct end to end business process analysis across the customer lifecycle, from acquisition through order, provisioning, charging, billing, care and collections
- Identify process duplication and complexity carried by the legacy Amdocs estate, and propose a simplified target state
- Facilitate requirements workshops with operator business units and the prime vendor’s requirements team
- Produce business requirement specifications, process models and traceability matrices to a standard suitable for solution design and test case derivation
- Support integration requirements discovery in partnership with the solution architecture team
- Guide and coach business stakeholders on platform capability and the implications of process change
- Contribute to UAT scope definition, scenario design and defect triage from a business perspective
- Maintain requirements documentation through change, including impact assessment on downstream design and test
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Business analysis: Minimum 5 years in a business analysis role, with at least 3 years in telecommunications
- Telecommunications domain: Working knowledge of BSS process across mobile(prepaid, postpaid) and fixed line services
- Technical grounding: Sufficient IT background to hold credible discussion with architects and developers on system behaviour, data and integration
- Process design: Demonstrable experience optimising or rationalising business process, not only documenting it
- Transformation programmes: Prior experience on a large scale migration or system replacement programme
- Qualification: Relevant degree or diploma. Formal business analysis certification such as CBAP or IIBA is preferred.
