We are seeking a BU FP&A Manager – Cash Flow & Capex to take full ownership of the budget, forecast, and tracking of BU South Easts’ Cash Flow Statement. This role is crucial in driving initiatives and projects with various stakeholders to achieve required synergies while maintaining the quality of our products, the safety of our people, and the perception of our consumers.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Cash Flow Management:
Oversee cash flow alignment with Procurement and leads from other functions (Marketing, Sales, Supply, People, Legal, and Corporate Affairs).
Conduct month-end reviews of cash flow to identify variances and deep-dive into overruns to assess risks to synergies/budget.
Prepare monthly cash flow presentations for the VP Finance.
Execute the LE process monthly for submission to Global, collating risks and identifying bankable savings.
Annual Cash Flow Business Cycle:
Develop 1YP and budget base assumptions, combining recent performance with planned initiatives.
Continuously improve cash flow models with detailed insights.
KPI and Financial Targets:
Link expected evolution of business KPIs to financial targets and track major project initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Lead cash flow deliverables with BU Functional Owners and Procurement Teams.
Drive execution of cash flow policies, initiatives tracking, and monitoring responsibilities.
Best Practices:
Identify and share best practices within the BU.
Key Competencies and Attributes:
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to constructively challenge senior colleagues across different countries/Business Units.
Change Management: Proven ability to support significant process changes affecting a major portion of the organization.
Effective Communication:Strong communication skills at all organizational levels (Global and BU).
Travel: Willingness to travel internationally as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience. CA(SA), CIMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
3-4 years in a business environment with people management experience.
Strong knowledge of business processes, strategy, and finance.
Proficient in understanding accounting and financial statements.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Syspro, Cognos Reportnet, SAP, and Capital IQ is a plus.
