Our client in the insurance space is looking for a Broker Consultant to recruit, maintain and develop brokers in Parow – Cape Town.
Main Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing Plan Development and Maintenance
Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy
Monitor progress and prepare a detailed report on advancements
Broker Recruitment
Expand distribution channels by identifying and selecting suitable brokers
Compile and present necessary documentation for brokers
Broker Support
Provide brokers with essential documentation, such as application forms
Address administrative inquiries on behalf of assigned brokers
Assess and advise on the business practices of dedicated brokers
Regularly update brokers on products and services
Cultivate professional relationships with broker
Conduct product training sessions
Market Identification and Development
Discover and develop new markets
Negotiate agreements in stop order markets
Maintain connections with key decision-makers and insurance industry resources
Retain and grow market share in existing markets
Oversee business retention
Deliver product presentations in the market
Requirements
Formal Education
• Matric
• Diploma/Degree/Long Term Insurance qualification (a qualification that is recognised by the FSCA)
• Regulatory Examination 5:
Representatives
Experience
• 2 years’ experience in the Long-Term Insurance industry
• At least 1 years advice and intermediary experience in category A,B,C and retail benefits
• 1 year’s management experience in the insurance industry
