The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For
Management of Broiler Farms processes with the aim of maximizing production and quality
Management of staff on the farm
Managing all labour related issues
Full Control of production processes and responsible for maintaining production standards in terms of quality and volumes
Implementation and maintaining the 20 keys system.
Maintaining Risk Control/Occupational Health/Bio Security requirements and standards as per relevant legislation and Astral Standard Operating Practices.
Control of farm budget and company assets
The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
Matric or Equivalent qualification
Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
At least 3 years’ experience in Broiler flock management
Experience with Controlled Environment Houses preferred
Fluent in English and an additional official language
Must be able to work in a highly pressured environment
Self-motivated and should have excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team environment is a key requirement
Must be target and deadline driven
Proven administration ability
Must be computer literate
Must have a valid code 08 driver’s license
