To direct the consolidation of crime, traffic and by-law related inputs for functional objective setting purposes to give effect to the mandate of the municipality of protecting its citizens and enforcing Municipal Policing Laws and By-Laws by developing and aligning plans and responsibilities of the Metropolitan Police Service’s functional key performance areas; researching best practice approaches and reviewing policy frameworks; implementing procedures, systems and controls to guide the development of a management framework, overseeing operations and services in relation to crime prevention, traffic enforcement and by-law enforcement;
managing the process of integrating information and management reporting requirements in order to ensure the functionality is positioned to adequately deal with the three primary functions of a Metropolitan Police Service.
