About Lore Brewing Company
Lore Brewing Company is an independent, family-owned brewery and taproom in Indian Land, South Carolina. Since opening in 2019, we have built a community-focused taproom around a diverse lineup of beers produced on our 7 BBL brewhouse. Most of our beer is brewed for our taproom, alongside a developing local distribution program.
The Brewer participates in the entire production process. Brewing, cellar work, packaging, sanitation, routine maintenance, and production organization are all essential parts of the position. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for taking beer from raw ingredients through finished package.
Position Summary
The Brewer is responsible for the day-to-day execution of brewing, cellar, and packaging operations under the direction of Lore’s Owner/Brewmaster.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently within established recipes, procedures, and production priorities; maintain accurate records; identify and communicate problems early; and complete production work safely and on schedule.
The Owner/Brewmaster retains final responsibility for recipe development, beer-portfolio decisions, overall production priorities, and brewery strategy. The Brewer will be encouraged to contribute observations and ideas for improving beer quality, consistency, and production efficiency.
