Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
Development of Foschini brand strategy & CI implementation
Work with the Marketing Manager in developing and executing the brand strategy
Responsible for aligning the integrated marketing calendar
Develop, drive and ensure implementation of brand strategy
Drive the marketing of the main Foschini strategic levers
Drive key partner relationships
Driving the marketing of Foschini strategic levers
Initiating brand building projects
Effectively monitor progress of processes and tasks
Implement & enforce CI for customer facing Foschini brand
Participate in the develop of strategy & communication plan
Manage the brand identity consistently through all communication channels
Identify opportunities for brand co-ops
Events / Events Management and Sponsorships
Develop & implement cross-brand campaign opportunities
Continue to build on the success of existing brand campaigns
Identify & drive new cross-brand campaign opportunities
Drive collaboration with brands, Bash, TFG Rewards and other stakeholders
Deliver integrated campaigns
Market & Campaign Analysis
Analysis of competitors, promotional landscape and campaign reviews
Monitor the retail landscape & identify opportunities
Research of marketing trends, specifically in the digital portfolio, popular culture & relevant events
Communication and relationship management
Manage client communication activity
Manage agency/ supplier relationship, briefs & communication
Share brand vision and identity with the team & stakeholders
Budget and planning
Responsible for the management of allocated budget
Effectively use allocated funds to ensure maximum exposure for the brand
Control the budget through invoice sign off and loading
Qualification & Experience
Tertiary degree or 3-year diploma in Marketing/ Brand Management/ Digital Marketing or similar is essential.
2 – 4 years’ experience
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Skills
Strong understanding of brand management, consumer behaviour and relevant culture.
Strategic thinker, be able to identify opportunities, unpack insights and interpret data to support the brands strategic objections.
The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
Excellent communication skills including written and verbal communication.
Have the ability to persuade and influence
Solutions based, innovative and organized with a curious mind
Project management: attention to detail and excellent time management
Retail industry intelligence knowledge would be a plus
Experience of retail marketing would also be a bonus
