Role Description The Brand Manager role at KR Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Cape Town. This role is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that strengthen market presence and support business growth in the health vitamins and food supplements category. Day-to-day tasks include managing brand positioning, overseeing product messaging, coordinating marketing campaigns, and ensuring consistent brand representation across all channels. The Brand Manager will collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams, analyze market trends and customer insights, and recommend initiatives to enhance brand performance. The role also involves monitoring competitors, managing external agencies or partners, and supporting new product launches and packaging updates.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in brand strategy, positioning, and portfolio management within consumer products or health and wellness sectors.
  • Experience with marketing planning, campaign execution, and digital marketing, including social media and online brand presence.
  • Competence in market research, data analysis, and interpretation of consumer insights to inform brand decisions.
  • Ability to develop clear product messaging, oversee packaging and visual identity, and maintain brand consistency across touchpoints.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • experience in health supplements, FMCG, or nutrition is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with standard office and marketing tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, presentation software; experience with analytics tools is beneficial).
