We’re a rapidly growing New York-based insurance agency that serves commercial clients, especially in the real estate and related industries. As we expand, we’re looking for a Bookkeeper & Client Service Coordinator who thrives on precision, stays organized under pressure, and values great client communication.

This fully remote role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, streamlining internal systems, and supporting clients through efficient service and follow-up.

What You’ll Do:

Bookkeeping & Financial Accuracy

Input and verify transactions in Applied Epic and QuickBooks, ensuring every detail is logged correctly.

Perform regular audits to confirm financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.

Support internal billing and reconciliation efforts by flagging discrepancies and helping resolve payment issues.

Client Support & Coordination

Provide light customer service support, such as sending policy documents, answering basic client questions, and routing requests to the right team member.

Follow up with clients or carriers when billing issues arise and assist in smoothing out communication gaps.

Help maintain clean, up-to-date client records—including contact information and policy status.

Administrative & Workflow Management

Support ongoing maintenance of client accounts and documentation.

Stay on top of key tasks and help ensure deadlines and monthly closings are met without fail.

Contribute to a team culture of organization, accuracy, and reliability.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience in bookkeeping, preferably within insurance, finance, or another high-volume transaction environment.

Familiarity with insurance workflows, especially billing and payment reconciliation, is a strong advantage.

Knowledge of Applied Epic or other agency management systems is preferred.

Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for getting things right the first time.

Strong English communication skills—both written and spoken—for handling internal and external communication clearly.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Confidence using cloud-based tools and internal systems to stay productive in a remote setting.
