Full Job Description
Job Title: Billing Manager (SAP S&D – ECC6 Preferred)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Billing Manager with a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution (S&D), preferably within the ECC6 environment. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of loyalty and longevity in previous roles, and demonstrate the leadership skills necessary to manage and inspire a dynamic team. This is a key role within the organisation, requiring someone who understands the critical importance of accurate billing processes, customer satisfaction, and system optimisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end billing function, ensuring all invoices are generated, validated, and processed efficiently and accurately in line with contractual obligations and internal controls. You will be required to lead and develop a billing team, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and collaborate with internal departments such as Sales and Finance to ensure all billing data is aligned and system processes are maintained at optimal performance.
You will play a strategic role in evaluating and enhancing the billing workflow, resolving discrepancies, implementing billing automation, and maintaining billing compliance across all customer accounts. Your deep understanding of SAP S&D modules, particularly within ECC6, will be critical in managing complex billing cycles, system upgrades, and ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
To succeed in this role, you must be an excellent communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills. Experience in managing large data volumes, customer-specific billing requirements, and SLA compliance is essential. You must also be able to demonstrate a stable employment history and the ability to foster loyalty within your team through effective people management and mentorship.
