Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Billing Associate to join their growing operations team supporting UK-based businesses within the Cyber Security and Telecommunications sectors.

This is not a traditional accounts administration role. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience managing billing processes using Zoho, Zoey and Xero, with the ability to ensure invoices are processed accurately, customer accounts remain up to date, and billing queries are resolved efficiently.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Operations and Customer Success teams while maintaining excellent attention to detail and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices using Zoho, Zoey and Xero.
  • Process recurring and ad hoc billing in accordance with customer contracts.
  • Reconcile billing data between Zoho, Zoey and Xero.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries.
  • Ensure customer accounts, pricing and subscription information remain accurate.
  • Process credit notes, invoice amendments and billing adjustments where required.
  • Assist with month-end billing reconciliation and reporting.
  • Support Finance with payment allocation and account reconciliations.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure billing information is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain excellent billing records and supporting documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and system efficiencies.
  • Assist with administrative and operational finance tasks as required.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must clearly demonstrate the following experience on their CV:

  • Minimum 2 years' billing or finance administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience using Zoho.
  • Hands-on experience using Zoey.
  • Hands-on experience using Xero.
  • Experience managing customer invoicing and billing processes.
  • Strong reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working with spreadsheets and financial reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within the Cyber Security industry.
  • Experience within the Telecommunications sector.
  • Experience supporting UK-based businesses.
  • Understanding of subscription billing.
  • Exposure to CRM and finance system integrations.
