Bikes Palm Beach is looking for a dependable, mechanically skilled Bicycle Technician to join our team.
While bicycle shop or professional bicycle repair experience is preferred, we are also open to candidates who have strong technical or mechanical experience in another field and are interested in applying those skills to bicycles.
If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy diagnosing problems, take pride in doing things correctly, and are comfortable working with your hands, we would like to talk with you.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair bicycles
- Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance
- Assemble and properly adjust new bicycles
- Work on brakes, drivetrains, shifting systems, wheels, tires, and other components
- Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues
- Perform safety inspections and quality-control checks
- Communicate clearly with customers and other members of the team
- Maintain an organized, professional service area
We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will have bicycle technician/mechanic experience, but we will also consider candidates with transferable technical experience, including:
- Automotive or motorcycle repair
- Small-engine repair
- Mechanical or equipment maintenance
- Electronics or technical troubleshooting
- Other hands-on skilled trades
More important than having worked specifically in a bike shop is having strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.

About Bikes Palm Beach
Bikes Palm Beach is a full-service bicycle shop serving recreational riders, serious cyclists, and the local cycling community. We sell and service premium bicycle brands and service bicycles of all makes and models.
