Job Description

Support of Benefit Frameworks

Works with the Senior Manager of the practice to communicate benefit frameworks through in country and segment HC.

Test and understand employee perceptions through research and studies to ensure that benefit programs are fit forpurpose, value adding and sustainable.

Analyse information gained from research and surveys and provide required reporting to inform decisions.

Governance and benefit management

Ensure that all benefits policies are reviewed and up to date in a central repository.

Ensure that benefit processes are mapped and reviewed regularly.

Conducts relevant audits and monitors application of governance standard and policy including benefit minimum standards.

Co-ordinates key employee benefit projects where required.

Works with benefit providers and centre of service to co-ordinate and oversee benefit administration.

Collates benefit information from countries and segment to manage Group Benefit practice and inform decisions.

Administers benefit programs, co-ordination and administration, record keeping and audit and reconciliations.

Advisory and Consulting Support

Supports HC and employees with benefit and policy queries.

Ensures that escalated queries from the centre of service or HC are resolved by engaging with relevant stakeholders.

Focuses oneducation, strongcommunicationand creating understanding of practice areas for all stakeholder groups (internal and external) including communities of practice.

Buildcommunicationand engagement tools for employees and prospective employees to understand and experience the benefit proposition.

Systems, tools and analytics

Provide the reporting and analytics in partnership with People Data Analytics or within practice.

Participation and submission of survey information and benchmarking of external practices on benefit policies.

Workday Benefits and Absence modules and successful implementation, data input and administration.

Requirements:
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

Qualification and experience:

B.Degree, preferably B Comm/ financial degree

Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) is advantageous

SARA Accreditation as a Reward Specialist/ Analyst.

2-3 years’ benefit administration experience

Demonstrated understanding of local and international best practices.

Highly numerate.

Strong excel skills.

Understanding of regulatory requirements & legislation (e.g. BCEA, Labour Relations Act, Tax Act, King Code, Companies Act, applicable local legislation)

Demonstrated experience in administration and analysis.

Agile mindset and responsive to quick delivery and turnaround.

Strong ability to collaborate both internally and externally. Has significant external networks of beneficial relationships within the Reward field.

Strong written and verbalcommunicationand presentation skills.

Places the customer first and strives to deliver high quality reward solutions to the business.

Has high-energy and is resilient to change and challenges.

Strives to continuously grow in technical ability.

Self-driven and thrives in high change environments.
