Strategic Business Development Representative (BDR) – Hunter & Relationship Cultivator
Employment Type: Full time, independent contractor
Work Model: Remote
Work Hours: US work hours
Role Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber,
Client-Facing Business Development Representative (BDR) who pairs a fierce hunter mentality with high energy and undeniable confidence
. This is not a traditional, “volume-only” cold-calling role. You will operate as a charismatic and strategic growth partner, leveraging Linked In Sales Navigator to spark cold conversations, confidently command attention, and seamlessly hand prospects off to our partner, to close.
Crucially, your job doesn’t end at the handshake. You will own the client relationship for 12 months post-contract
, acting as a farmer to maximize revenue from initial small-use cases. Because this role requires navigating the complexities of distribution conversations rather than standard direct-to-customer sales, we are looking for a sophisticated, resilient, and fluent English-speaking professional who can bring vibrant energy to deep client cultivation.
Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
-
The Hunt: Proactively identify and target net-new enterprise accounts, bringing the confidence required to break through the noise.
-
Linked In Mastery: Launch and execute sophisticated outbound strategies using Linked In Sales Navigator to start meaningful, cold conversations with high-level decision-makers.
-
Omnichannel Transition: Once a prospect shows interest on Linked In, confidently migrate the conversation to email, phone calls, Slack, or other preferred client channels.
Relationship Nurturing & Complex Sales Handling
-
Relationship Cultivation: Build strong, authentic foundational relationships. Use your high energy to engage leads, nurturing them with patience and strategic value rather than just pushing for a quick close.
-
Distribution Complexity: Confidently navigate complex, multi-layered distribution conversations that require a deeper understanding of market logistics and partner ecosystems compared to traditional direct sales.
-
The Hand-off: Once a relationship is built and a warm lead is secured, introduce the client to partner, preparing comprehensive context notes so he can run the late-stage sales process and close the deal.
Client Engagement & “Farming” (Post-Contract)
-
12-Month Relationship Ownership: Retain and own the client relationship for a full year post-contract, keeping momentum and enthusiasm high.
-
Account Maximization: Monitor initial, small-scale use cases and actively consult with the client to expand, upsell, and maximize total contract value.
-
Client Retention: Execute ongoing client engagement strategies with a proactive, high-energy approach to ensure absolute satisfaction and long-term retention.
Deal Management & CRM Optimization
-
Live Sales Support: Initially shadow and support active sales calls alongside leadership, capturing critical pain points, technical requirements, and deal context.
-
Hub Spot Ownership: Maintain absolute data hygiene within Hub Spot, systematically moving leads through deal stages while eliminating pipeline stagnation.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
-
Mindset & Presence:
High energy, magnetic confidence, and a proven hunter mentality. You are someone who thrives on rejection, stays motivated, and brings an infectious enthusiasm to every client interaction. -
Communication:
Absolute fluency in English (written and verbal). You must draft articulate, value-driven messages that read like a strategic consultant wrote them, avoiding any “automated bot” tone. -
Experience: 3–5+ years of B2B sales development or account management experience. Experience navigating complex industries (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Corporate Finance) is highly preferred.
-
Sales Toolkit: Advanced proficiency with Linked In Sales Navigator
. Expert-level familiarity with Hub Spot (managing pipelines, architecting deal properties, and building reports). -
Executive Presence: Deeply comfortable and completely confident initiating conversations and building rapport with C-suite executives and mid-market enterprise buyers.
Why Work With Us?
-
Lucrative Compensation Model: We heavily reward success and high energy. Our highly competitive and lucrative compensation structure is specifically designed to allow top performers to double their earnings over the flat rate through new customer acquisitions.
-
Direct Mentorship: Bypass standard agency bureaucracy. You will receive direct, daily mentorship from company leadership and a front-row seat to enterprise deal-making.
-
Career Velocity: This role offers a clear, rapid path to transition into a full-cycle leadership or Account Executive (AE) role as our business scales.
