Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
– Ensure that all drinks are made according to company standards and guest preferences
– Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and equipment
– Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations when necessary
– Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
– Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff On Board Cruise Ship
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and provide assistance when needed
– Stay up-to-date with new and trending drinks and techniques to continuously improve the beverage selection and guest experience
– Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol service and inventory management.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
– Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail
– Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
– Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
