Full Job Description
We are hiring an experienced bar manager for a busy, fun, alternative restaurant and bar in Obs. We are a community focussed space – we know our regulars, we love working here, and are a close team. We serve delicious food, we host regular music events and art exhibitions. We take sustainbility seriously and are working to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 4 years experience managing a busy high end bar.
They should be open, honest, kind and enjoy connecting with a wide variety of people and cultures.
Hardworking and able to work long shifts and closes (ideally therefore with own transport or living in Obs or nearby)
Bring a positive and can do attitude to the team.
Knowledge on cocktails and small producer, natural wines.
Stock Management and stock taking.
Ordering from a wide range of suppliers via email and WhatsApp.
Cash Up and Cash Handling.
Previous experience with working with cost of sales %.
