Job Description:

The Banqueting Coordinator is responsible for preparing quotations, acquiring new business, maintaining current business, and confirming potential bookings. The incumbent will assist the operational team with setup, check the quality of DCP food offerings, ensure venues are clean and up to standard, monitor guest satisfaction, handle guest complaints, assist with site inspections, and ensure the smooth running of conferences and events as scheduled.

Requirements:

Matric

Hospitality Management Diploma or similar

1-2 Years previous Banqueting Coordinator experience

Experience with hotel management and Point of Sale software

Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure

Teamwork and independence

Effective communication skills with staff and guests

Honesty and trustworthiness

Attention to detail

Presentable and articulate

Leadership and proactive approach

Interpersonal skills
