Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bagger to join our dry cleaning team. The Bagger is responsible for preparing cleaned garments for customer pickup by inspecting, organizing, tagging, and packaging them with care and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect cleaned garments for quality
- Match items to customer orders using tags and receipts
- Fold or hang garments as required
- Bag or cover items in plastic for protection
- Label and organize completed orders for customer pickup
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory and stock supplies (ex. hangers, plastic covers)
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with the manager
- Provide backup support to other team members as needed
Requirements:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Good organizational skills
- Basic reading and matching skills (order tags, names, numbers)
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry is plus, but not required
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, often warm environment
- Handling of clothing, plastic covers, and hangers
- Physical activity including standing, reaching, and light lifting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
