Location: Benonie
We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in network support, server administration, and IT solutions implementation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain VMware and Hyper-V environments.
Provide ongoing support for network infrastructure, including maintenance, upgrades, and new installations.
Configure and manage network security measures, including firewalls (Fortinet SD-WAN), VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Set up and manage wireless solutions, including Aruba Cluster WIFI with Active Directory integration.
Oversee server configurations, including Microsoft Windows Server and Power Shell scripting for automation.
Troubleshoot WAN issues and ensure connectivity remains above 97% operational uptime.
Conduct regular system backups using Veeam and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with service desk teams to resolve user issues and maintain high levels of customer service.
Implement and monitor network performance using tools like Solar Winds, PRTG, and Nagios.
Document processes, configurations, and changes to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
Relevant certifications such as A+, N+, Server+, CCNA, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Server Administrator.
Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, particularly with Windows Server administration and network troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with Linux systems (LPIC certifications preferred).
Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
