Overview
B2B Product Director_Captetown Jobs in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa at MTA Solutions Global
Title: B2B Product Director_Captetown
Company: MTA Solutions Global
Location: Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa
The Role
We're hiring a Director to own both the product strategy for our core platform and the product-side relationship with our B2B operator partners. This is a deliberately broad, foundational seat: you'll set the roadmap for player account management (PAM), wallet, identity, CRM/bonus infrastructure and platform APIs, and you'll own making sure that same platform is configured, integrated, and supported well for the operators who license our games and services. Commercial ownership of B2B deals and revenue sits with the B2B Commercial Director — this role owns the product and technical experience that makes those partnerships work.
What You'll Do
Platform Strategy & Roadmap
– Define and own the platform roadmap and strategy, balancing the needs of Live, Game, B2B, and B2C product lines against engineering capacity and technical debt.
– Own PAM (Player Account Management) and wallet product direction — account structures, balances, transactions, and the reliability/scalability of the systems of record.
– Own player identity and account product decisions, including how identity is verified, linked, and managed across brands and markets.
– Own the CRM and bonus platform product roadmap, partnering with B2C Product Ops and marketing/commercial teams on what the platform needs to support.
– Own APIs and platform services strategy — ensuring the platform exposes the right capabilities to internal product teams and to external B2B operator integrations.
B2B Partner Integration & Enablement
– Own product and operator configuration — ensuring games, live content, and platform features are set up correctly for each partner's needs and market.
– Lead integration and release readiness for B2B partners, coordinating across Product, Engineering, and Compliance so new releases land cleanly.
– Own technical onboarding for new operators, from kickoff through to live launch, and own the operator-facing customer portal experience.
– Build and maintain operator training programs and documentation (integration guides, release notes, technical specs).
– Own operational reporting for the B2B product line — giving Commercial, Compliance, and Product leadership visibility into integration status, adoption, and issues.
– Partner with the B2B Commercial Director on product input for go-to-market and market intelligence; this role owns the product/technical experience, Commercial owns the deal and revenue relationship.
Compliance & Engineering Partnership
– Own certification handoff across both platform-level and B2B-partner-facing changes, working with Compliance and Technical Compliance to keep certified configurations aligned with what's in production.
– Act as the primary product interface into the CTO's Office and Tech Ops, translating business and partner needs into engineering priorities and vice versa.
– Drive prioritization and sequencing across platform and partner-integration initiatives, balancing new capability development against stability, security, and regulatory requirements.
– Build out the Platform & Partner Integration team as scope and scale grow, including the first dedicated integration/technical account management hire when partner volume warrants it.
What We're Looking For
– 10+ years in product management with direct ownership of platform, PAM, wallet, or account infrastructure, ideally in Gaming, or another regulated, high-reliability consumer environment.
– Direct experience with player/customer account systems, wallets, or transaction infrastructure — comfortable with the product tradeoffs around balances, ledgers, and identity, not just the UI layer.
– Experience owning or closely supporting external partner/operator integrations — technical onboarding, API-based integration, certification processes — ideally at a B2B platform or content provider.
– Strong track record partnering closely with engineering leadership to set and deliver a technical product roadmap.
– Comfortable working in a regulated environment where compliance, certification, and audit requirements shape platform and integration decisions.
– Comfortable operating with significant autonomy across a genuinely broad mandate in a fast-moving, multi-market environment; multi-market or multi-currency experience (Africa, CIS, LATAM, or Asia) is a strong plus.
