Mon–Thurs 9–6 | Fri Half-Day | No Weekends
$35–$55+/hr (based on experience & demonstrated ability)
Top-of-range pay is reserved for technicians who can independently diagnose and execute complex repairs on modified or high-performance vehicles.
About Us
Boost Controlled Performance is a high-end performance and tuning shop specializing in servicing and upgrading performance vehicles. We value culture, safety, and craftsmanship above all else. We specialize in mainly Japanese and German cars, but service a broad range.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced automotive technician with strong hands-on and mental skills. Performance or modified-vehicle experience is strongly preferred, but solid general automotive experience with the right mindset is acceptable.
Responsibilities
Everything you would see in a normal shop but typically cleaner cars + specifically working on turbocharged vehicles.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of automotive repair experience (required)
- ASE Certification (strongly preferred)
- Experience with performance or modified vehicles preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills- this is more than swapping parts
- Being Detail-oriented, organized, and clean are critical
- Able to work independently and take ownership
Requirements
- Own professional tool set
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License
- Michigan State Certification (minimum, ASE Preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training encouraged)
