About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Automotive Sales Manager with proven dealership experience to drive revenue, lead our sales team, and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will not be managing from behind a desk—we need a leader who thrives on the showroom floor, actively engages with customers, desk deals, and leads by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales & Close Deals: Work directly with sales reps on the floor to desk deals, negotiate terms, turn objections into sales, and close deals daily.
- Proactive Customer Outreach: Make direct outbound calls to hot leads, trade-in candidates, and previous clients to generate foot traffic and drive sales volume.
- Manage & Coach Sales Team: Train, mentor, and hold sales representatives accountable to daily KPIs, follow-up benchmarks, and professional standards.
- Showroom Leadership: Maintain a constant, visible presence on the sales floor—greeting customers, stepping into difficult conversations, and managing sales process flow.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Ensure precise follow-up processes in the CRM for every lead, quote, and visit.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience specifically as an Automotive Sales Manager (Required).
- Strong track record of closing automotive sales and meeting monthly gross profit targets.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and manage a high-volume sales staff.
- Comfortable making outbound prospect calls and handling high-level customer negotiations.
- Proficiency with automotive CRM and dealership management systems (DMS).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
