Job Description
Our client, an established specialist automation company with clients in SA and Europe seeks the services of an Automation Engineer ideally with some experience in embedded device programming.
Jobspec
· Product and application development and support
· Adapt existing software for new applications
· Manage and support customer applications remotely
· Supervise remote installations
· Travel to site to install equipment
· Travel abroad mostly to Europe will be required for periods not exceeding 3 weeks
Requirements
· Electrical engineering qualification – electronics
· Embedded device programming
· PIC micro-controller IO cards programming
· C programming Language knowledge
· Problem solving ability
· Electronic circuit design experience beneficial
· PLC programming beneficial
