POSITION INFO:
A leading mining operation is seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to maintain, diagnose and repair heavy mining equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical fault finding, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on either underground Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) or surface drill rigs. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working on advanced mining equipment in a fast-paced production environment while contributing to equipment reliability and operational uptime.m Education: Qualified Auto Electrician (Red Seal Trade Test) Valid driver's licence Relevant mining certificates will be advantageous Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience as an Auto Electrician Experience working on underground TMM equipment and/or surface drill rigs Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience working with CAN Bus systems, electronic control modules and hydraulic electrical systems Experience performing planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and component replacements Sound knowledge of mining safety standards and procedures Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary maintenance team Willingness to work shifts and standby when required OEM experience on Sandvik, Epiroc, Atlas Copco, AARD, GHH, Fermel or similar mining equipment will be advantageous Apply now!
