Position Overview:
In this position, you will play a vital role in diagnosing hearing loss, fitting and managing hearing aids, and providing holistic support to individuals with hearing-related challenges. This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, clinically driven, and eager to contribute to a growing and trusted practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments
Diagnose hearing loss and provide clear, empathetic patient counselling
Fit and program a range of hearing aids using best practices
Offer rehabilitation services, follow-ups, and ongoing support
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and case histories
Collaborate closely with branch staff and hearing care professionals
Participate in community outreach and hearing health awareness initiatives
Assist in the marketing and promotion of audiological services and hearing products
Stay current with industry developments, products, and professional standards
Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Audiology or Hearing Aid Acoustics
HPCSA registration (or eligibility to register)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A patient-first mindset with a commitment to compassionate care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with hearing aid fitting software and audiological equipment
