Overview
Join our team as an Audio Video Technician installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, audio/video systems, primarily church buildings. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects while developing your skills.
QSC Qsys and Extron product knowledge is essential to the position.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure audiovisual equipment audio systems, cabling, and related hardware according to schematics and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot and repair AV systems promptly to minimize downtime, utilizing electrical schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to AV system installation and maintenance.
- Implement network configurations for AV devices involving computer networking principles and telecommunication standards.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for system installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and training on AV system operation.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of systems and low voltage wiring practices.
- Knowledge and experience with Extron hardware and software.
- Proficiency in QSC products, programming specific to AV environments for automation and integration purposes.
- Expertise in equipment troubleshooting across audio, video, control systems, digital signal processing (DSP), and computer hardware/software issues.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics related to AV system installation.
- Skilled in cabling techniques including mechanical knowledge of cable management for clean installations.
- Familiarity with telecommunication standards as they relate to AV infrastructure setup.
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate technical information to clients with varying levels of technical understanding.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting for various AV control platforms and digital media applications.

Pay: $25.81 – $35.00 per hour
