Role Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end audio production projects in Ardour from recording to final master export.
- Demonstrate live multitrack recording workflows for various audio environments and events.
- Manage session setup including routing, gain staging, mic placement, and latency troubleshooting.
- Edit and comp audio takes while applying plugins, automation, and mixing techniques.
- Document and explain technical and creative decision-making throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture workflows and improve AI training systems.
- Provide feedback and contribute to process documentation for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience using Ardour for professional audio production workflows.
- Expertise in multitrack recording, mixing, mastering, and sound editing.
- Deep understanding of session routing, plugin chains, automation, and mastering processes.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical workflows and production decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex audio sessions.
- Ability to work independently in remote and high-pressure environments.
- Professional communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
