A family is looking for an AU PAIR for a boy aged 7 years old

Duties: Collect from school every day, take him to afternoon extra murials, swimming, tennis, OT, Jusitsu. Available full day during school holidays for driving duties and extra mural activities and holiday care, revision of school work, reading, time tables, mathematics, Afrikaans vocabulary. To supervise full homework, full tutoring, to be hands on. Keeping him stimulated during the holidays. Doing fun, safe activities that the au pair has taken the initiative to plan but to discuss the plans with myself. Planning an adventurous holiday, not watching iPad and television the whole day. E.G. Taking the dogs to the park on leads, a crafty activity at home. Riding his Bicycle , going to the bird park, Bounce, movies, skate park, bicycle park, etc
Requirements: Mature responsible female individual 25 to 35 years old. Formal teaching experience Learners Support for the Foundation phase is required with professional references not just family references. Bachelor of Education and First Aid is also required. Au pair’s personality should be child like but not childish, energetic, fair but firm, caring, encouraging and positive. To have firm Christian values and morals. Must have their own reliable transport, have a Driver’s license for +5 years. Au pair to live close by and around where we stay.
Start date: 19th May 2025 start – permanent contract
Salary:R11 000 – R12 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76) + overtime in the school holidays for any hours worked over and above 4.5 hours per day.
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
