Our client, a promotional products supplier, is looking to employ an Internal Sales and Account Manager with a focus on Sourcing, Procurement, and Purchasing from Wholesalers to join their team in Centurion.

Experience

Required:

10 Years of proven experience in a procurement, producer, sourcing, or estimator role.
5 Years of industry experience in design, production, print, corporate gifting, and packaging environments.

The Internal Sales and Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sourcing, procurement, and purchasing on their account portfolio, from initial concept proposals to final delivery of procured items.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Internal Sales / Account Manager will work closely with the Design, Client Services, and Logistics teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Required

Qualifications and Skills:

Track record of Supply Chain Management experience.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in working with senior clients and suppliers both locally and internationally.
Exceptional English language skills, both written and verbal.
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Duties:
1. Sourcing products to suit client needs (key responsibility).
2. Project scoping and quote generation.
3. Supplier relationship management.
4. Internal project management.
5. Supplier margin management and negotiation.
6. Sourcing of innovative product offerings.
7. Proactive approach to new market innovations and products.
8. Sourcing items/services requested by clients.
9. Ensuring product availability and timely delivery.
10. Issuing supplier purchase orders.
11. Following up on quotes and orders.
12. Managing internal design, production, and logistics deadlines.
13. Checking and approving supplier invoices.
14. Following up on payments.
15. Measuring physical stock items for artwork scaling.
16. Checking and approving supplier artwork.
17. Logistics coordination and tracking of orders.
18. Problem-solving and issue resolution.
19. Quality control of finished products.
20. Updating supplier price lists.
21. Proof sign-offs.
22. Ensuring timely communication with client service team.
23. Deadline tracking and management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery, prioritize tasks and manage workloads.
2. Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control standards, conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications, identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
3. Supplier Management:
Source and manage suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery, negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships.
4. Financial Management:
Budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting (project basis), monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
5. Client Communication:
Communicate effectively with client service leads/project managers to provide updates and address concerns, manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
6. Interdepartmental Integration:
Effective integration with Design, Client Service/Project Management, and Logistics teams.
